Bunches of Birthdays

Ben and I have been celebrating like madmen lately. Holly's Birthday was March 11th and Mark's Birthday is today.

For Holly's Birthday the whole family got together at the infamous Christina's for delish Mexican a couple of Saturdays ago. The strong Margaritas provided for both dinner and a show! There was talk of dancing table top but we decided being thrown out of a restaurant might have made for a bad Birthday for Holly! What a night!!!

Ben and I joined in on the celebrating of Mark's Birthday this past Saturday night along with all of Holly and Mark's family members - minus Kevin and Chase who are out of town somewhere... can't remember where... Oh yeah! Hawaii. (I am sure they were really missing us!) We ate dinner at Texas Land & Cattle and were all introduced to Mark's family who was visiting from Pennsylvania.

We have had a wonderful time living close to Ben's family this past year and getting to be apart of everyone's special day! Happy Birthday Holly and Mark. We love you both!!!

It has been a while....

Ben and I have had several visitors in the past few weeks. Our good friends Jenn & TJ Speer came in for an impromptu visit with their precious daughter, Ella. They drove into Dallas mid Sunday afternoon and just stayed the night on Sunday and Monday. Ben and I had to work most of the time that they were staying with us, but we were able to hang out for at least a little while. It was the first time that they had been to our house since we moved to Dallas and we're glad that they made the time to stop by.

Our next set of visitors followed the Speers by just a few days. My Mom and Lonnie came for the following weekend for a GREAT visit. They drove in late afternoon on Friday and Ben and I were both able to get off early to spend a little extra time with them. On Saturday Mom and I drove to Tyler to see Beth Moore live! It was such a great day! Meanwhile Ben and Lonnie did manly things like hanging out at the new Bass Pro Shop and eating at a dive restaurant in Dallas. We were so sad to see them go on Sunday! We can't wait to go visit them next.

Lastly, my wonderful aunt Janie came for a night. She stayed with us the past Monday night. It was SO exciting to see her because.... she is pregnanate for the first time.... which no one expected. It was so fun to hear about what is going on in her life now that she is expecting. It really does change everything. Congrats Jane!

Life is back to normal and the house is feeling kind of empty. We'd love for more of our friends and family to visit soon! You are welcome anytime!
